MEP Sean Kelly is a Member of the European Parliament and sits on the Committee on Regional Development. He is also a member of the Delegation for Relations with the United States. He is a substitute on the Committee on Culture and Education and for Delegation for Relations with Canada. Before becoming an MEP, Mr Kelly previously worked as a primary and secondary school teacher and was the first Kerry man to ever become President for the Gaelic Athletic Association. He received a People of the Year award in 2006, Social Entrepreneur Award of the Year in 2007 and Kerry Person of the year in 2008.
