Health First Europe is very happy to welcome MEP Karin Kadenbach (S&D, Austria) as a new MEP Supporter. MEP Kadenbach is a Member of the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee in addition to being a Member of the Delegation for relations with countries of South Asia. She is also a Substitute Member of two other Committees in the Parliament including the Committee on Regional Development and the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development. She also acts as a Subsitute for the Delegation for relations with the United States.
MEP Kadenbach has been very active on a variety of health issues within the Parliament offering her expertise on issues such as child immunization, non-communicable diseases, health inequalities, information to patients on medicinal products and the Patients’ Rights in Cross-border Healthcare Directive. She is also quite involved in environmental and food safety issues.
