Health First Europe is happy to welcome José Inácio Faria as a new MEP Supporter.
Mr José Inácio Faria serves as a Member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety at the European Parliament.
José Inácio Faria is a Portuguese politician. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon (Portugal).
In his professional career, Mr Faria has shown a strong interest towards health issues, particularly on patient safety and patient rights.
Since his election in the European Parliament, Mr Faria has been actively engaged in European discussions on neonatal screening and severe combined immunodeficiency, Zika virus outbreak, elderly rights and ageing, the overuse or misuse of antibiotics, citizens’ awareness in relation to the EU directive on cross-border healthcare and the rights of cancer patients.
