Health First Europe is happy to welcome Cristian Silviu Bușoi as a new MEP Supporter. Mr. Cristian Silviu Bușoi serves as Member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety and as a Substitute of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee.

Cristian Silviu Bușoi is a Romanian physician and politician. He graduated from the Medicine Faculty of the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest and he also began work on two doctorates: one in Endocrinology, and one in Public Health and Health Management.

Prior to joining the European Parliament in 2007 Bușoi served as a member of the General Council of Bucharest, where he sat from May to December 2004 and in the same year he was elected as member of  Chamber of Deputies, where he sat on the health and family committee.

Given his medical academic and professional background, Mr. Cristian Silviu Bușoi is actively engaged in the European discussions on eHealth, access to medicines, early diagnostics, clinical trials, disease prevention and healthcare systems management. He has always worked to ensure to the European patients access to the highest healthcare standards.
