Health First Europe is happy to welcome Bogusław Sonik as a new MEP Supporter. MEP Sonik serves as the Vice-Chair of the Committee on Budgetary Control and is a Member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety. He is also a Member of the Delegation for relations with Iran. Prior to joining the European Parliament in 2004, he worked as Minister plenipotentiary at the Polish Embassy in France and later served as President of the Małopolskie Provincial Assembly. He has been awarded the title of Knight of the Order of Art and Literature in Poland.
MEP Sonik is genuinely involved in ensuring patients’ safety at the European level. He actively supported the information campaigns aimed at empowering patients with high quality and objective information on falsified medicinal products and called for an Internet-based information service on pharmaceutical products to be supervised by the European Medicines Agency.
Health First Europe is delighted to welcome MEP Sonik as a Supporter and looks forward to future collaborations.
