Hosted by MEP István Ujhelyi (S&D, Hungary), and organised by the European Network for Safer Healthcare (ENSH), the upcoming roundtable debate will represent the occasion to officially release the comprehensive report “Increasing adherence to CAUTI guidelines: recommendations from existing evidence”, co-written by Health First Europe, the European Network for Safer Healthcare, and the European Association of Urology Nurses (EAUN), with a view to raise awareness on catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI) and discuss evidence-based recommendations on how to prevent them.
The meeting will bring together policy makers from the European Commission and the European Parliament, and many healthcare experts, including the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, the European Society for Emergency Medicine, the European Association of Urology and the European Association of Urology Nurses.
