On 27 November 2012, Health First Europe together with MEP Christofer Fjellner (EPP, Sweden) will organise a follow-up roundtable debate on Advancing patient safety in the EU: Reducing healthcare-associated infections. This event – which will take place at the European Parliament – will bring together high-level stakeholder to discuss the current state of infection control in Europe and the next steps for reducing HCAIs.  Panelists included the World Health Organization, the European Commission, the European Parliament and the German Society for Hospital Hygiene.
