HFE is pleased to welcome MEP Mary Honeyball (S&D, UK) as a new Supporter. MEP Honeyball has been a Member of the European Parliament since 2000 and is a member of the Committee on Culture and Education and the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality. She also sits as a substitute on the Committee on Legal Affairs and the Delegation for Relations with Canada. Previously, she worked as a Councillor in London Boroughs of Barnet and was governor to several schools in London Boroughs of Barnet and Lewisham.
MEP Honeyball is also the Chair of the European Parliament’s Interest Group on Osteoporosis and has been actively involved in tackling child safety online and broadening employment opportunities and education for Europe’s youth. She also acts as a Labour spokesperson for Gender Equality.
